The evaluation used is the Addiction Severity Index which is the standard evaluation for the State of Nebraska. Counselors are required to attend a two day training and pass an examination to be able to use the evaluation. They must also complete 12 hours of approved criminal justice training and use the approved format for the evaluation which is called the Standardized Model. Passing an examination is also required to use the Standardized Model. Ms. Garrison is an approved provider and has met all the requirements to perform the evaluation needed for the court system. The evaluation takes approximately one hour to complete.

If you have a voucher from the court system for substance abuse counseling, Ms Garrison is approved to accept it as payment. She provides out patient individual counseling.
